Connect Skatteguru to AI Agents
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Connect Claude, Codex or another MCP client to your Skatteguru account. Our skill teaches your assistant how to find broker documents, upload and review records, and prepare K4 declaration files.
Server URL · Streamable HTTP
https://rizz.skatteguru.se/api/v2/mcpUse your own Skatteguru account and approve access in your browser. The connection can read and upload documents and read and export tax results. A seasonal pass may be required to export a particular income year; configuring a connection does not purchase one.
Copy this prompt into your assistant
The assistant can install the skill and configure MCP when its host supports those actions. Otherwise, it will walk you through the manual steps. Browser sign-in remains yours to complete.
Install the Skatteguru skill from https://rizz.skatteguru.se/skills/skatteguru/SKILL.md,
including references/setup.md, references/brokers.md and references/workflows.md
from that same skill directory. Read the files before installing and preserve
existing local changes. Use your host's supported skill installer or import flow.
The ZIP is https://rizz.skatteguru.se/skills/skatteguru.zip if an upload is needed.
Connect to https://rizz.skatteguru.se/api/v2/mcp using Streamable HTTP and browser OAuth,
with connection name skatteguru_beta. Reuse a matching connection. Follow the setup
reference for your host. If you cannot install files or change connector settings,
give me the manual steps instead. Do not ask me to paste passwords or tokens.
After I sign in, call ping and search_documents with limit 1 to verify access.
Then ask which broker, account type and income year I need help with and use the
help-center guides to find the right documents. Do not upload files or make
purchases just to test installation.Download the skill ZIP · Read the skill · Installation instructions
In Claude web or desktop, upload the ZIP through Customize > Skills and enable it. Add the MCP connector separately in your client settings. Installing skill files in a temporary chat sandbox does not install them into your local app.
Connect with Codex or Claude Code
For Codex, add the server and start OAuth login:
codex mcp add skatteguru_beta --url https://rizz.skatteguru.se/api/v2/mcp
codex mcp login skatteguru_betaIn Codex custom MCP settings, choose Streamable HTTP, enter the URL, and leave bearer-token and header fields empty. Save, then authenticate. If registration reports incompatible scopes, the setup reference includes the explicit-scope login fallback.
For Claude Code, add the server:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user skatteguru_beta https://rizz.skatteguru.se/api/v2/mcpRun /mcp inside Claude Code, select the server and authenticate. Reuse an existing connection with the same URL instead of adding duplicates. A saved app connector and a custom MCP connection have separate sign-ins.
Production uses https://www.skatteguru.se/api/v2/mcp. Beta testers use https://rizz.skatteguru.se/api/v2/mcp. Choose the environment before uploading documents.
Verify and start using it
Ask the assistant to call ping and then search for one document. A health check alone does not verify access to your account. You can then ask: “Which E*TRADE and Avanza files do you need for my 2025 declaration?” or “Review my uploaded documents for missing cost basis.”
Uploading requires transferring the file after the MCP server prepares an upload. Some chat clients cannot do that; you can still upload in Skatteguru and ask the assistant to review the results. Completed processing does not guarantee that a document produced usable financial records.
For SRU exports, the assistant checks the income year and unresolved issues. If a seasonal pass is needed, it opens or links to the purchase page for you to complete in your browser, then checks confirmed access. You still review and submit the files to Skatteverket yourself.
