CSV Format
The Nutmeg CSV file uses semicolon (;) as a separator and typically includes the following columns:
Date
Transaction date (DD-MMM-YY format, e.g. 11-Apr-25)
Description
Transaction type (Purchase, Sale, Dividend, Fee, Interest)
Investment
Investment type (e.g. CASH, fund/ETF name)
Asset Code
Ticker or identifier for the investment
Pot
Your Nutmeg pot name (e.g. "House pot")
Account
Account type (typically "ISA")
No. Shares
Number of shares in the transaction
Share Price (£)
Price per share in GBP
Total Value (£)
Total transaction amount in GBP
Which transactions are analyzed?
Not all transaction types in the Nutmeg CSV are included in the analysis. Below is a summary of which types are supported and which are ignored:
Analyzed (included)
- Purchase(Buying of investments)
- Sale(Selling of investments)
Ignored (not included)
- Dividend payments
- Account fees
- Interest payments
If a transaction type is not recognized (not listed above), the parser will also ignore it. If you encounter an error with your Nutmeg file or have transaction types that aren't being processed, please contact us and share your file (with sensitive information redacted if needed). This will help us add support for any missing transaction types.

Currency Handling
Nutmeg transactions are denominated in GBP (British Pounds). Skatteguru will automatically convert the values to SEK using appropriate exchange rates.
Important notes
- •Make sure to include all relevant transactions from your entire investment history
- •The Nutmeg CSV can contain Fee events that are not included in the analysis, if they are not associated with a specific security. If you want to associate fees with an investment, you can do that by adding a custom CSV with the fee events for that investment.
- •The Nutmeg CSV format can contain a header line that starts with "Investment-Activity-" followed by a date. Our parser automatically ignores this line if it is present.
- •If you have multiple Nutmeg pots or accounts, you may need to download separate CSV files for each pot or account.
